“We shipped a bunch of stuff to a job, received half of it back, and the customer sent the rest to another job”.

This is pretty typical for a falsework company. Since Quantify was built for your industry, it was designed from the ground up to handle these issues.

It accomplishes all of this with an easy to use ‘Shipment’. A shipment in Quantify is a generic item that’s used to move equipment.

shiptab

Where shipments go to and come from determine their type, as shown below.

shipfrom shipto

  From:
Jobsite
From:
Branch Office
To: Jobsite
Transfer

Delivery

To: Branch Office
Return

Transfer

Note that you’re not limited to where you can send items, depending upon your authorization. If you’re authorized, you can send from branch to job (delivery), job to branch (return), job to job (transfer), and even branch to branch (transfer).

shipnumber

Shipment numbers are auto-incremented for you and allow for a number ‘template’ so that you can have the number appear any way you’d like it to.
