2012–1st Quarter Quantify General Training Sessions

Looking for a review of Quantify Software? Have a new employee that needs training? Avontus is pleased to announce that Quantify general online training sessions will be available in 2012. The schedule for the first quarter of 2012 is below.

Space in sessions is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. All sessions run an hour to an hour and a half and will start on time. Note: sessions will be conducted using a fictional company database and training will be generic in nature.

To register, send email to: support@avontus.com. Indicate the class you would like to register for and the date. You will then receive an email invitation to the session. We reserve the right to cancel a session at any time.

Enhancements

  • The date that an employee last checked out a tool is now displayed in the Checked Out node under the tool crib.
  • You can now multi-select items in the product catalog and move them to the consumable catalog.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed crash creating a pre-return shipment.
  • Add the category from the consumables into the kiosk dropdown list.

Enhancements

  • You can now move a product to a consumable if it's stocked at a location. The job stock will be removed and the item will appear in the consumable catalog.
  • Moved the serialized part purchase price and date to the pricing pivot where it originally belongs.
  • When purchasing a serialized part the last purchase price and date are updated on the serialized part.
  • Changed the default report background when loading a report from This document does not contain any pages... to Report is being generated...
  • Enabled the recurring charges tab on the scaffold tag shipment for non-billable jobs. This will allow tracking of various units.
  • Transaction report now displays serialized parts that were purchased, if tracking serialized parts.
  • The location for the transaction is now shown on the report.
  • Transaction report now only shows the terms and conditions from options on the sell types of transactions.

Bug Fixes

  • Estimate for selling now sorts the parts.
  • Fixed an issue with Quantify not exiting during an automatic update.
  • Enabled QuickBooks to sync when finding a company file that doesn't have a non-taxable core property. This enables synchronization in Australia.

New Quantify Version Released

Features

  • You can now convert an estimate to a sell transaction.
  • The transactions have a new report with your company logo, signature block, estimate terms and conditions from options, and notes at the top.
  • Sell consumable, available, and new products can now have taxes.
  • PERMISSION: There is a new location-based permission that allows you to control which roles can convert an estimate to a sell transaction.

Enhancements

  • Added purchase price and date for a serialized part in the quantity pivot.
  • Filtering in kiosk now works on the description.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a minor issue with company logos not sizing correctly on the new reports.
  • Numerous minor bug fixes.
